BOLLYWOOD SINGER UDIT NARAYAN TO PERFORM IN PENANG THIS COMING NOVEMBER 2024
Penang, 2 September 2024 – Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan, renowned for his contributions to Bollywood and various other languages including Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, and Kannada, will be coming to Penang to perform live in concert at the Setia Spice Arena on 28th November 2024. Udit is the voice of many iconic Bollywood stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Amir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and many more. Over the past three decades, Udit has sung more than 25,000 songs in over 36 languages, earning him 22.3 million listeners on Spotify, and an array of awards in several categories.
Udit’s rise to fame began in the 1980’s with the song "Papa Kehte Hain," which earned him his first Filmfare Award. His performance on the soundtrack of "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak" further cemented his status in Bollywood, leading to massive sales and widespread acclaim. He also often collaborates with other singers such as Alka Yagnik, Lata Mangeshkar and Kumar Sanu. Among the popular films that take Udit Narayan as a background singer are Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil To Pagal Hai, Mohabbatein, Kaho Naa Pyar Hai and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.
Udit continued to be a favourite voice for music directors and actors alike, collaborating with legendary musicians such as Anu Malik, Jatin Lalit, A. R. Rahman, Rajesh Roshan, and Shankar Mahadevan. His voice has graced the films of renowned directors Yash Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Karan Johar. With 21 of his tracks featured in BBC’s Top 40 Bollywood Soundtracks of All Time, Udit is celebrated as the King of Melody.

Filloz International is an event management company located in Woodlands, Singapore. Their most recent events are ‘THIS IS JOHAN LIVE IN SINGAPORE’ concert, ‘The Sacred Riana Conjuring Live In Singapore’, project collaboration ‘GEGARFEST’ and ‘GEMILANG KAMPONG GELAM 2024’, a large scale Ramadhan bazaar in Arab Street, Kampong Gelam Singapore. LR Asia is an event management company from Selangor that has been managing, organizing and coordinating events such ‘Program Komuniti Project X bersama MyFundAction’, ‘KOPIRASA’ 2021 in Johor Bahru and ‘This is Johan Live in Singapore’ last July 2024.
The first concert of ‘A Lovely Night with Udit Narayan’ will be held this coming 23rd October 2024 at The Star Theatre, Singapore and the next touring will be in Setia Spice Arena, Penang next 28th November 2024.
